Job summary

Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, PA is seeking a part-time Facilities/Grounds/Custodial Staff Member to maintain cleanliness of zoo grounds and buildings. You will work in all weather conditions as part of a proactive maintenance team and support infrastructure projects with the Maintenance department.

• Communicate effectively with both adults and children in both group and individual settings. Always greet guests and exercise professionalism.

Summary of Responsibilities :

This individual must be highly motivated and will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance & cleanliness of the Zoo grounds and buildings. Must be a team player and be able to work in all weather conditions. Assists with various infrastructure projects and works closely with Maintenance. Communicates and works well in a vision driven organization. Must be logical and be able to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems and address them appropriately. This high energy individual enjoys challenging tasks and a fast paced environment.
