Job summary

The Town of Breckenridge is seeking a Facilities Operator to manage building systems, perform inspections, and support repairs and improvements across Town facilities including Town Hall and the Recreation Center.

The role involves preventative maintenance scheduling, mechanical projects, and working a four- to five-day week with on-call rotation. 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED required. Housing and other benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years experience in facilities maintenance or related construction field required.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week (four or five days) and be on-call.
• Experience with electrical systems and/or building control systems with related trades desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate various building systems, machinery, and tools in a safe, efficient manner.
• Inspect and monitor operation systems across Town facilities.
• Perform/mechanic and construction projects and assist with Preventative Maintenance schedules.
