Greenheck Group is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician to maintain and repair our Shelby, NC facilities. You will handle routine tasks from painting to minor plumbing and furniture setup, while coordinating with contractors and responding to emergencies.
The role requires up to 2 years in facility maintenance and a valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree in construction or maintenance preferred. On-site work and growth opportunities offered.

As a Facilities Operations Technician for Greenheck Group you will be responsible for ensuring well maintained facilities, including the routine maintenance and repair of facilities. Provides timely and professional responses to maintenance work requests.
Routine maintenance and repair including, but not limited to, interior and exterior painting and repairing drywall and plaster; basic plumbing; set-up, repair and ergonomic adjustments of office furniture; office and cubical moves and reconfigurations; installing window blinds; toilet accessory and dispenser repair and replacement; light bulb replacement. Assist with daily facility operations activities while maintaining Excellent working relationships with maintenance contractors. Provide minor maintenance on security system devices and doors (strikes, closures, and locksets) Responsible for implementation of office relocations and space allocations. Perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal as necessary. Obtain estimates for supplies or repair parts; order parts as needed. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment with responsibility over inventory of supplies, tools, materials, and workstation items. Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Maintain company vehicles to ensure they are clean and fueled prior to use. Serve as a primary contact for security matters and able to respond to facility emergencies. Assist CFS (Corporate Facility Services) in identifying and resolving facility deficiencies with assessments, including determining whether building systems are operating appropriately, and facility appearances meet Greenheck Group standards. Routine testing and documentation of all fire systems.
0-2 years of relevant work experience in facility and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair including carpentry repairs, office furniture installations, simple plumbing and painting required. Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools required. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail and quality required. Valid driver's license and good driving record required. High school or GED required. 2 Year / Associate Degree in construction or maintenance preferred. Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Minimum travel is required. Will work on-site in Shelby NC.
The starting base pay range for this position is $18.00/hour - $30.22/hour and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
