Job summary

WGNSTAR in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician to support site equipment and facilities systems. The role requires collaboration with a technical team to service, maintain, and resolve alarms across the site, and to act as the primary responder for emergency events.

The position offers a full benefits package and requires flexibility for night shifts and overtime. A valid HVAC background or apprentice license is preferred to help maintain system stability and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to rotate to the night shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime when requested.
• Familiarity with HVACR equipment.
• HVAC Apprentice License or equivalent.
• Familiarity with operating a variety of equipment HVAC
• Ability to become respiratory certified in SCBA, SKA, and APR.

Responsibilities

• Working in a team environment with other technicians to service, maintain, respond to, and resolve routine equipment alarms for facilities equipment for the entire site.
• Serve as the primary responder for ERT events in the group.
• Make recommendations related to preventative maintenance and other non-routine issues.
• Partners with stakeholders to resolve equipment/process issues and maximize system stability.
• Attends and participates in meetings and provides input.
• Ensurethe pass-down is accurate and reflects the current work status.
• Proactively communicates issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restriction, or lost moves.
• Provides effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues.
• Identifies and resolves chronic equipment alarm issues.

Schedule: 5:45am to 6pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, alternating Wednesday

Pay Rate: $28

Location: Boise, ID.

Position Type: Full Time

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
