Job summary

A growing semiconductor company in Boise, ID is seeking individuals to work with chemical distribution equipment in a full-time role. Responsibilities include on-the-job training, installation, and safety training while traveling for projects. Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, a relevant degree or military experience, and be able to work in a team. Schedule: M-F, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $26-$30, hourly
Location: Boise, ID
Travel: 4-6 weeks at a time for the first 9 months of employment
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Chemical distribution equipment on-site and/or on the manufacturing floor.
• Train in plumbing, welding, electrical, instrumenation and controls wiring pertaining to this chemical equipment.
• Start working OJT (on-the-job training)in the manufacturing facility and then travel to the project site for installation and start-up of equipment.
• Work with hazardous chemicals and learnthe proper PPE required and Safety procedures for each site.

Requirements

• 2yrs - AAS, Military equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills and understanding.
• Able to work within a team group and also perform individual tasks once trained with little supervision.

Preferences

• Previous Semiconductor experience.

Physical Effort/Activities

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
