Job summary

WGNSTAR in Chandler, AZ is seeking an entry-level electrical technician to join our growing team. The role involves troubleshooting basic electrical issues, wiring and running wire, insulation, and assisting in maintaining heater systems.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a $23 hourly pay rate, and a benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Applicants should have a high school diploma/GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of technically related experience.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet on or off a ladder.
• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Participate in problem solving and heat-related issues.
• Handle equipment used during installation.
• Perform minor maintenance of heater systems.
• Assist in developing documentation to standardize processes.
• Heat tracing of process lines.
• Ensure safety compliance.
• Wiring and running wire, insulation and installation.

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues
• Participating in practical problem solving & heat related issues
• Handling equipment used during installation process
• Performing minor maintenance of Heater Systems
• Assisting in developing documentation to standardize processes
• Heat Tracing of Process lines
• Safety compliance
• Wiring & Running Wire, Insulation and Installation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of technical related experience
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet either on or off a ladder
• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces for extended amount of time
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred:

• Mechanical equipment assembly experience
• OSHA 10 certification
• Work overtime as needed
• Technical capability with equipment maintenance

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
