Job summary

The Prince George’s County Government, Office of Central Services, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor G23 to lead skilled trades crews in new construction, installation, repair, renovation, and maintenance of County facilities. The role involves planning, organizing, and supervising projects, inspecting work, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or completion of an apprenticeship in skilled trades.
Five years of work experience in skilled trades including installing, maintaining and repairing equipment.
Two of the five years must have been in a supervisory lead capacity.
Eligibility for any specific license(s) as required for the position.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise and evaluate the work of skilled trades personnel on maintenance projects.
Assign and inspect construction/maintenance work to ensure conformance and completion.
Coordinate with occupants, contractors, engineers and inspectors to resolve issues.
Prepare reports and estimates of in-house renovations and maintenance work.
