Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of related equipment maintenance experience required.
• Valid Arizona driver license required.
• Preferred: vocational or technical training in a skilled trade.
• Five to eight years of related equipment maintenance experience mentioned in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment and performs preventative maintenance; troubleshoots and repairs equipment and conducts inspections for safe operation.
• Determines repairs or replacements for an operational and safe campus; coordinates solutions, including ADA compliance.
• Schedules preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; tracks work orders and parts in the FAMIS system.
• Monitors Energy Management Control Systems to maintain comfort and repair HVAC equipment as needed.
• Provides maintenance support including electrical, plumbing, and general campus upkeep; oversees service contracts administration.
• Responds to questions from administration, staff, and students.
• Prepares and administers the campus maintenance budget.
• Provides input on general maintenance of the assigned site.
• Supports facility services during events and college functions.
• Performs skilled trade and journey-level repairs or installations based on assignment.
• Attends required meetings and trainings to maintain industry knowledge.
• Supports college events as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
