Job summary

City of Eugene is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct maintenance, repair, and security functions for City-owned facilities at 210 Cheshire Ave, Eugene, OR. The role requires leadership of skilled crews and coordination with multiple divisions to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The position offers a competitive salary, bilingual pay eligibility up to 5%, and robust benefits. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with some flexibility for business needs.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in facilities operations and maintenance, including supervisory responsibility or four years as lead worker.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in responsibilities-related field.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid Oregon driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise skilled staff in maintenance, repair, and operations of City facilities, pools, and grounds.
• Provide admin and technical support to Facilities Operations & Maintenance leadership.
• Oversee safety, inspections, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Develop work plans, set priorities, and participate in City committees as needed.
• Prepare budget estimates and manage contracts and vendor payments.
