Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 3–5 years buildings maintenance experience; 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction, and supervision of all activities relating to city buildings, maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Supervise, assign, and inspect the work of employees engaged in operating, maintaining, cleaning and repairing buildings, equipment.
• Perform maintenance, cleaning and repair of City facilities, equipment, vehicles and buildings; carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related repairs.
• Schedule and monitor specialized contracts; evaluate cost effectiveness of using contractors.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and implement preventive maintenance schedules; determine replacement needs.
• Lead daily cleaning operations and supervise custodial staff; assign shifts, inspect facilities, and manage staff performance.
