Job summary

The City of Boulder is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Senior Manager to provide administrative and operational support to the Facilities and Fleet Department. You will coordinate building access, work orders, project administration, training, and onboarding, while guiding staff to deliver reliable internal and external service.

You will manage vendor relationships, support budgeting and data reporting, develop procedures, train teams, and participate in citywide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lead and work within teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with department software, databases, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate key administrative and operational programs within Facilities & Fleet.
• Administer enterprise systems (Workday, Smartsheets) and support data reporting.
• Train staff on system use and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement aligned with city policies.
• Lead project support, scheduling, and meeting logistics for the department.
