Job summary

K9s For Warriors Inc. in Florida is seeking an Operations Specialist to oversee daily maintenance and care of the organization's campuses, offices and common areas.

The role involves minor/major repairs, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment for staff and veterans. Under supervision of the Operations Manager, you will maintain preventative maintenance schedules, coordinate with vendors, and assist with construction projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Prior property and grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Carpentry and/or similar skills are valued.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Maintain campus preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with housekeeping, landscaping, and pest control as needed.
• Replace filters, HVAC maintenance, plumbing fixes, and painting as required.
• Support on-site operations during construction projects and fleet repairs.
