Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Kennel, rescue, or shelter experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are preferred.
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule, approve timecards, supervise Kennel team with Kennel Manager support.
• Ensure safety procedures for kennels and animal handling.
• Oversee daily kennel tasks, deep cleaning, and food preparation.
• Maintain accurate kennel records and monitor dog health conditions.
• Assist with inventory, maintenance, and PPE policy adherence.
• Lead daily kennel department meetings and coordinate with other teams.
