Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Facility Operations Associate to support the management of multiple properties in Nashville. You will assist in planning, coordinating maintenance, and monitoring facilities to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of building systems, excellent customer service, and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office. Occasional overtime and travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facility management, property management, or building operations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive situations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Management Team with tactical planning for team goals and objectives.
• Provide facility-specific assistance and manage assigned facility management tasks.
• Coordinate special events and maintenance activities.
• Provide overall facility management services, including continuous office/facility monitoring.
• Interface with clients, visitors, and guests and ensure customer follow-up.
• Assist with budget requests, analysis, reporting, and variance research.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and risk management policies and procedures.
• Conduct property inspections and daily walkthroughs, including janitorial and landscape requirements.
• Respond to work orders promptly and ensure KPI compliance and customer service.
• Coordinate vendors, facilities staff, and service providers with minimal disruption.
• Conduct quality assurance site visits with janitorial vendors.
• Support teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and client relationships.
• Use CMMS daily for overall work-order management.
• Work occasional overtime and/or be on call as needed.
