Job summary

Intersect Healthcare in Michigan is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance teams, ensuring a clean and sanitized facility.

You will manage safety programs, preventive maintenance, and compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and building codes while coordinating with other departments. The role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting, and vendor oversight to support our facility's goals. Flexible hours and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in a comparable position including supervision of staff and administrative responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental services operation manuals including safety and infection control.
• Maintain budget and purchase departmental supplies for maintenance, housekeeping and laundry.
• Schedule and supervise inspections and maintenance of life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for non-industrial environments.
• Coordinate with regulatory officials and insurance inspectors during tours.
• Lead department meetings and serve as Safety Committee Chair.
