Intersect Healthcare of Jackson is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff, ensuring a clean and sanitized facility.

In this role, you will manage preventive maintenance, supervise contractors, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to meet regulatory standards and infection control requirements.

The position requires leadership, budget oversight, and a commitment to patient safety and facility reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental services operation manuals including safety, infection control, chemical lists and MSDS.
• Maintain budget and purchase departmental supplies for maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Schedule inspections and maintenance of life safety systems and facilities.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and staff safety training.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for necessary repairs and services.
• Attend department and staff meetings and participate in safety committees.
