Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance staff to keep facilities clean and safe. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and coordinate preventive maintenance across the campus.

The role requires leadership, hands-on maintenance knowledge, and the ability to schedule inspections and supervise external contractors. This position is based in Michigan and requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years in a comparable supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental services manuals including safety and infection control.
• Manage budget and department supplies for maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Schedule inspections and supervise contractors for repairs and life safety systems.
• Ensure OSHA regulations compliance for non-industrial environments.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with other departments on security matters.
• Maintain records of services, maintenance, drills, and in-services.
