Job summary

Opportunity Works Connecticut, Inc. seeks a Facilities/Operations Manager to oversee inventory, distribution, and maintenance across all facilities. You will supervise the operations team, coordinate with department heads, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5 years of management experience, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility with hours and the ability to drive company vehicles are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to negotiate with companies and people.
• CPR, First Aid, PMT certification preferred.
• Five years of management experience.
• Flexibility to work varying hours.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Pass rideshare background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory and distribution across departments and facilities.
• Supervise operations team and assign daily and weekly duties.
• Research vendors, ensure license and insurance.
• Act as point of contact with maintenance vendors.
• Oversee building maintenance and safety programs.
• Manage transportation program and drive when needed.
• Oversee fire safety, security and access programs.
• Serve as OSHA Compliance Officer and develop programs.
• Collaborate with department heads on facility concerns.
• Procure cleaning and paper supplies; maintain first aid lists.
• Process work orders; monthly facility documentation.
• Support fundraising activities and other duties.
