Job summary

Santa Clara Development Corporation is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee all facilities functions across multiple properties. The role ensures safe and efficient mechanical and electrical operations and leads hiring, training and supervision of facilities staff.

The candidate will develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, monitor external service providers, and manage payroll and budgets while maintaining compliance with policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree and 4–6 years facilities operations experience.
• Must read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees scheduling, supervision and operations of maintenance staff across properties.
• Ensures a safe, clean, well‑maintained work environment for all facilities.
• Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Monitors performance of outside services and maintenance contracts.
• Interviews, trains and evaluates facilities staff regularly.
• Manages department payroll and expenses within budget.
