Job summary

TRDI Incorporated seeks an Assistant Project Manager to oversee janitorial and landscaping operations across DHS RGV facilities. You will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and per contract terms and quality standards.

Candidates must have strong leadership, exceptional attention to detail, and proven experience managing facility services, coordinating staff, subcontractors, and vendors, while maintaining budgets and compliance with government regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of managerial experience directing cleaning-type operations.
• Experience supervising staff in a facility operations setting.
• Evidence of supervisory training or equivalent experience.
• Detailed resume outlining relevant experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to meet contract requirements and quality standards.
• Oversee employees, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Act on behalf of the company for contract matters, excluding major price/scope changes.
• Manage budgets and regularly review processes for efficiency.
• Schedule personnel, approve time cards, and manage inventory.
• Provide coaching, implement improvements, and enforce policies.
• Conduct performance evaluations via payroll system within timelines.
• Ensure safety practices; train on equipment, handling, and standards.
• Prepare reports, logs, and required operational records.
• Gather data to prepare cost estimates for additional or removed work.
• Support Director of Operations with additional assignments.
