Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Facilities Operational Manager in Oak Brook, IL. The role requires leading 24/7/365 facility operations, managing staffing, and ensuring regulatory compliance. It includes coordinating maintenance programs, budgets, and interdepartmental collaboration across AMG Admin - Facilities.

Requires trades license or CHFM preferred, 5+ years leadership, and a high school diploma or higher. This is a full-time, first-shift position with additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Trades certificate with 3 years of progressive leadership experience or 5 years progressive leadership experience.
• 7+ years progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities

Responsibilities

• Establish staffing complement and staff readiness for 24/7/365 operation.
• Maintain and administer maintenance and asset programs.
• Utilize budget reports, CMMS dashboards, energy usage and efficiency reporting.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance codes; schedule inspections, testing, maintenance and drills.
• Analyze root causes of building system failures and implement solutions.
• Coordinate interdepartmental services and communicate with Administration, staff, patients and families.
• Support implementation of larger scale projects across facilities.
