Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in facilities management or operations.
• Five or more years of facilities management experience are required.
• One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities involved in maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Oversee building operations including structural maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory and building code compliance.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate department staff.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, and performance management.
• Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Serve as project manager for small-scale, short-duration projects.
• Develop and manage budget and inventory systems.
• Manage design and renovation projects for the facility.
• Analyze metrics and recommend improvements and solutions.
• Initiate repairs or replacements and prepare cost estimates.
• Be on-call for building emergencies.
• Responsible for facility operational effectiveness and safety.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
