Job summary

Associa is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to take total responsibility for building maintenance and safety at a property in Florida. You will monitor, identify and communicate issues across trades, supervise staff, and coordinate contractors to keep facilities in optimal condition.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance, training staff, evaluating repairs, and maintaining disaster preparedness and safety protocols. High school diploma preferred; HVAC licenses may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC or related trade licenses/certifications may be required.
• Experience in building maintenance and repairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, painting and flooring.
• Schedule and supervise work orders, staff and contractors; monitor results.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and reports.
• Ensure safety procedures and maintain a safe environment; on-call for emergencies.
