Job summary

Emerald Heights, located in Redmond, WA, seeks a Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations, safety and appearance of buildings, grounds, and systems. You will supervise staff and contractors, direct preventive maintenance, manage projects, and ensure regulatory readiness while maintaining resident-centered service.

The role requires five years in facilities operations with at least two years of supervisory experience, plus strong Microsoft 365 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in facilities management, engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• Five+ years in facilities operations, building maintenance, or related field.
• Two+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience in senior living, health care, hospitality, or occupied-campus environments preferred.
• Valid WA state driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily facilities operations across the campus, including buildings, grounds, and support services.
• Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff; support recruitment and performance management.
• Set priorities, deadlines, and allocate labor to meet resident needs and operational demands.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and life-safety systems.
• Review and manage work orders in the CMMS; monitor completion and quality.
• Inspect facilities for safety, cleanliness, code compliance, and resident satisfaction.
• Coordinate repairs and projects with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Participate in budget development and monitor expenditures; approve invoices.
