Job summary

Volunteers of America Texas is seeking a BOP Facility Manager to supervise maintenance, health/safety sanitation, local transportation, and food service components of facility operations. The role will directly supervise the Lead Residential Monitors Staff and coordinate with vendors to ensure safe, compliant operations in our Fort Worth location.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field with supervisory experience, and a Food Manager certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; two years supervisory experience.
• Five years of facility maintenance experience.
• Must secure Food Manager’s certification within prescribed timeframe; valid Texas Driver’s license.
• Ability to manage budgets and supervise staff.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance, food service, and janitorial staff.
• Monitors procurement and inventory of supplies.
• Ensures health/safety and life/safety compliance.
• Maintains and reports on facility grounds and vehicles.
• Manages budget adherence and program resource use.
• Schedules drills and coordinates with vendors.
