Job summary

Government of the Virgin Islands seeks an Operations Manager to oversee facilities and equipment maintenance, repairs, renovations, and servicing. The role includes conducting facility reviews, analyzing operations data, and preparing cost estimates and reports for management.

The incumbent will ensure OSHA and security regulations are followed, manage emergency responses, and collaborate with vendors to minimize disruptions while maintaining safe, compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, industrial engineering, or related fields with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
• OR Any combination of education, training, or experience equivalent to seven (7) years of experience in the management or operations of a facility, not below a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations, maintenance, repairs, renovations, and servicing of facilities and equipment.
• Conduct facility reviews and analyze data related to facility operations.
• Prepare reports and cost estimates for management.
• Ensure OSHA and other safety regulatory compliance.
• Manage emergencies such as fires, floods, hurricanes, or other disasters.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to minimize disruptions and obtain quality service.
