Job summary

Cherokee Nation Federal Consulting (CNFC) is seeking a Facilities Program Manager to oversee custodial operations under a government contract. You will manage daily activities, maintain safety, compliance, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality, cost-efficient services.

Responsibilities include contract alignment with performance metrics, design reviews, space modifications, and staff supervision of ~50 employees. Strong leadership and hospital facilities experience required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 10 years of experience managing facility maintenance or construction projects.
• Basic computer skills and project management system (DMLSS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD CAC and installation access.
• Must have construction/central plant management experience in hospital settings interfacing with clinical departments.
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills to manage ~50 staff.
• Knowledge of medical equipment installations in healthcare facility settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Facility management software experience or willingness to learn within 6 months, including DMLSS.
• Familiarity with environmental, safety, and hospital regulations (AHA, AIA, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, UFC, The Joint Commission).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and represent Facilities Management Division.
• General knowledge of hospital facility operations including design, maintenance, PPE use.
• Understanding of hospital engineering systems, accreditation requirements, and contracting principles.
• Knowledge of Navy medical missions, DHA processes, RPMS and SFPS.
• Solid engineering foundation across mechanical, civil, and electrical domains for healthcare facility planning and budgeting.
• Excellent PC skills: Windows/Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Maintain positive relationships with management and customers.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract requirements to ensure performance, quality, customer satisfaction, and financial objectives.
• Serve as primary liaison with government personnel including the Contracting Officer.
• Plan/coordinate space utilization and equipment installation projects with design reviews and cost estimates.
• Oversee training and equipment programs and write scopes of work with cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain procedures for operational efficiency and compliance.
• Create/update site policies and obtain approvals for changes.
• Coordinate training and maintain records for staff.
• Assign tasks, schedule work, and ensure contract compliance via inspections.
• Promote workplace safety and conduct mandated training.
• Report injuries per workers' compensation procedures.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, and end users for installations.
• Build and maintain client relationships and resolve concerns via corporate processes.
• Ensure proper maintenance, security, and accountability of equipment.
• Maintain inventory and manage supply ordering and distribution.
