Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Gainesville, VA seeks a Facility Operations Assistant Manager to support the Facility Operations Manager in delivering clean, functioning facilities and excellent customer service.

This full-time role involves maintaining spaces, training team members, and providing managerial backup when the Manager is away. You will work opposite the Manager's schedule, coordinate staff, assist with safety compliance, budgets, and recruiting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) required.
• Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 3 months.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in maintaining locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas, and amenities.
• Responds to member feedback with urgency and provides follow up communication with solutions.
• Assists in budget recommendations.
• Trains team members through ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Serves on club Safety Committee ensuring policies and regulations are in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assists with the recruiting and interviewing for the Operations department.
• Attends weekly department head, Operations department, and "all club" meetings.
• Builds positive relationship with members while gathering feedback.
• Coordinates and creates Operations staff schedules.
