Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting to a senior leadership role responsible for the financial, operational and clinical performance of several teams within the Care Group. • Be responsible for the operational delivery of clinical services and participate in strategic planning and development of services across the defined area of responsibility.
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure delivery and improvement plans are developed and implemented throughout the delegated group of services, including objective setting, action and responsibility planning, and review of performance against milestones.
• Collaborate with senior managers and clinical leaders within the Care Group and deputise for the Head of Service when required.
• Provide decision making relating to performance, including service user care and support, business processes and service improvement.
• Enable and encourage team development through QI initiatives, training and research.
• Support delivery of local and national priorities as defined by the Trust's Business Plan and Clinical Strategy.
• Participate in the trust Tactical on-call Rota when required.

£58,133 - £65,261 Per Annum, Inclusive of HCAS
