Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee facility services, project management, and staff while ensuring safe, efficient operations on site.

You will manage vendor performance, budgets, and preventive maintenance for HVAC, chiller, fire protection, and building systems, coordinating with senior operations staff to ensure compliance, safety, and reliable uptime across sites.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience in a large or multi-unit venue.
• Knowledge of electrical, maintenance and repair practices.
• Experience with building systems: CRAC/Chiller, Fire protection, Mechanical & Electrical, BMS.
• Strong vendor management and budget/project management experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and database systems.
• Excellent communication in English and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety culture and prevent accidents.
• Use CMMS to create work orders and track requests.
• Repair and maintain facility and utility equipment.
• Oversee contractors and vendor performance.
• Inspect work for conformance to blueprints and OEM standards.
• Lead site inspections and coordinate safety/compliance.
• Manage budgets, projects, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for HVAC and rooftop units.
• Achieve KPIs and meet service level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations.
