Job summary

Sunrider Manufacturing seeks a Facilities Manager to direct a team responsible for repairs, maintenance, and installation of plant machinery, buildings, and utility systems. Onsite role coordinating Sunrider affiliates and external contractors, with focus on safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering associate degree with 5+ years of related experience; a licensed electrical contractor is a plus, with forklift certification potentially required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) in any Engineering field or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training.
• Electrical Contractor’s license is a plus. Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance and construction activities across buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Develops maintenance policy and procedures for optimal functioning and cost control.
• Manages budgeting and scheduling to meet project milestones and vendor contracts.
• Leads staff training and safety programs; maintains OSHA/regulatory compliance.
• Oversees repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of plant systems.
