Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle in Indianapolis seeks a Lead Engineer to direct operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. You will supervise contractors, manage maintenance requests, and prepare technical reports to ensure client occupancy and operations run smoothly.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and 3+ years in building repair/maintenance with basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders up to 30 ft, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervises contractors and monitors their performance.
• Directs Maintenance Technician and maintains operations with minimal disruption.
• Performs and directs maintenance service requests efficiently.
• Prepares monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports.
• Maintains HVAC systems, lighting, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Responds to emergencies and supports capital projects as needed.
