Job summary

The Animal Rescue League seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee the physical plant operations, ensuring safe, clean premises. Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, vehicle and equipment maintenance, after-hours emergencies, and hurricane preparedness.

Applicants must have an associate degree or equivalent with 3 years supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with three years related experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with driving record acceptable to insurance carrier.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC system maintenance and preventive care.
• Coordinate electrical system repairs and safety checks.
• Supervise facilities technicians and custodial staff.
• Respond to after-hours emergency building needs.
• Prepare buildings for hurricanes and disasters.
