Responsibilities

• Supervises, schedules, and assigns work to support staff.
• Oversees event set-ups and special bookings or programs.
• Assists in developing and coordinating major maintenance projects.
• Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates and disciplines regular and student employees.
• Liaises with clients, vendors, and University departments as needed.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures.
• Oversee operations to maintain quality control and meet deadlines.
• Forecasts departmental needs and orders supplies to maintain inventory.
• Prepares special and periodic financial or other reports and maintains unit records.
• Resolves employee complaints and grievances.
• Inspects facility operations to ensure health and safety standards and compliance with rules.
