Job summary

Pegasus Support Services, LLC in El Centro, California, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC staff, implement and continuously improve the Quality Control System for CBP Facilities, and ensure contract objectives are met.

The role reports to the QC Safety Director and requires at least 5 years of experience managing quality control/safety across facilities, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction/quality, Six Sigma Green Belt, and OSHA 40/HAZWOPER preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing a quality control/safety system for facilities.
• Experience across mechanical maintenance, energy management, custodial, grounds and tenant support services.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or quality/safety field preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt and ISO quality/safety system desirable; OSHA 40 Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC staff and QC Program processes and activities.
• Manage implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Control System (QCS).
• Review and approve Quality Control Plans and acceptance criteria for materials and services.
• Ensure follow-up and closure of Corrective Action Reports.

Summary:
The Quality Control / Safety Manager is responsible for:

• Reporting Directly to Corporate QC Safety Director.
• Supervising and monitoring QC staff and QC Program processes and activities.

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing a quality control/ Safety system for the mechanical maintenance and administration of a portfolio of commercial, industrial, or educational facilities across a State or region.
• Service inspected should include full facilities maintenance, energy management, custodial, grounds and tenant support services.

Education and Certifications Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or quality/safety field preferred.
• Six (6) Sigma Green belt and/or executing an ISO certified quality/safety system.
• OSHA 40 Safety Certification and 40-Hour HAZWOPER training course preferred.

Salary: $80,000 annually

A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
