Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a results-driven project management professional to lead multiple programs for optimizing the facilities network, expanding assets, and driving technology-enabled improvements. You will oversee budgeting, risk management, and vendor performance while ensuring programs meet customer expectations.

The role requires strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize concepts or ideas in a logical manner and communicate them clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs, ensuring results meet customer expectations.
• Drive asset optimization leveraging data and ensuring results are delivered on time and to specification.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for adherence to contractual obligation and approved funding.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing all aspects of regulatory and internal compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids and ensure consistent application.
• Participate in the development of facility capital, global expense long range outlooks, annual budget, and manage annually to fiscal plan.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
