Skyworks Solutions, Inc. invites engineering students to join its Facilities Mechanical Engineering Internship, designed to provide real work experience and mentorship in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will work on projects to improve facilities safety, reliability, and energy efficiency while collaborating with fab engineering, EHS, and energy teams. Eligible candidates are pursuing a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA, basic thermodynamics/fluids coursework, and

Competenze

Pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum GPA 3.0
Completion of at least one course in thermodynamics or fluid dynamics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Identify/Execute projects to enhance facilities system safety, reliability, and energy efficiency
Perform deep dives of critical facilities systems to identify system optimization
Troubleshoot system faults and resolve interruptions
Update/Optimize the Facilities Tool Utility Matrix
Update Building and Facilities Equipment documentation: as-built drawings, SOPs, SOOs, P&IDs, PMs
