Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in facilities engineering and strong mechanical systems knowledge.
• Master's degree applicants preferred with 3+ years experience.
• Experience with mechanical and control systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, reliability, and maintenance of mechanical systems such as oil-free air systems, HVAC systems, chilled water plants, boilers, environmental abatement systems, and compliance exhaust systems.
• Support daily efforts to meet safety, reliability, and environmental targets for mechanical systems.
• Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and provide evaluations and solutions.
• Develop scopes of work for mechanical projects and conduct design reviews to ensure system integrity.
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs, oversee prototype fabrication and testing.
• Collaborate with internal business units and operations teams to deliver tailored engineering solutions.
• Work with maintenance providers to ensure proper system operation and adherence to limits.
• Develop a systems roadmap and asset replacement strategy for reliability and capacity.
• Drive commissioning of new systems and significant modifications.
• Support strategic projects and explore automated solutions for cost savings.
