Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with HVAC, environmental compliance exhaust systems, or mechanical process equipment.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems such as chilled water plants, boilers, environmental abatement systems, and clean room equipment.
• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop engineering scopes of work for mechanical projects and conduct design reviews.
• Partner with internal customers and operations teams to implement engineering solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs; oversee prototype fabrication and testing.
• Collaborate with maintenance service providers to ensure systems are operated and maintained within specified limits.
• Create mechanical systems roadmaps and asset replacement strategies for reliability and capacity.
• Support safety, reliability, and environmental objectives through daily mechanical system management.
