Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our facilities, ensure safety, compliance, and efficient performance of building systems.

You will manage maintenance, vendor relationships, budgets, and preventive maintenance programs, lead teams, and coordinate with internal groups to deliver cost-effective, reliable facilities support.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years of facilities management experience, preferably in corporate/industrial settings.
• CFM or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software; familiarity with LEED a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
• Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for timely project completion.
• Monitor and control facility-related budgets and expenses.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify issues.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
• Manage emergency response plans and procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation related to facility operations.
• Monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing) for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules.
