Qualifications

• Strong background in commercial building maintenance and repair.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively and ask questions to develop skills.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot facility systems and equipment (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC).
• Conduct and coordinate routine facility inspections and testing; maintain logs and document outcomes.
• Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets.
• Coordinate repair and maintenance with third-parties; obtain quotes as needed.
• Request approval for purchase of supplies and submitting payment vouchers.
• Coordinate moves of furniture and equipment.
• Prepare reports for supervisor.
• Serve on Safety Committee and monitor camera system; attend meetings.
• Maintain routine vehicle maintenance and registration; on-call duties for alarms.
• Prepare training materials and train EECM staff as requested; attend required training.
