Job summary

SOS International LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee readiness, maintenance, and operational integrity of facilities supporting federal public health emergency missions. You will manage warehouses, staging areas, deployable spaces, and associated infrastructure to ensure safety and mission readiness.

The role emphasizes coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and government partners, with potential for security clearances and travel to emergency sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business, public administration, industrial engineering, logistics, or related field.
• 5 years experience in facility management, building operations, industrial maintenance, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and facility compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple facilities or complex operational environments.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and government partners.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• May have to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance (depending on customer).

Responsibilities

• Facility Operations & Maintenance: Manages the day‑to‑day operations of SOSi facilities, including warehouses, storage sites, and mission support buildings.
• Readiness & Emergency Support: Maintains operational readiness of facilities used for emergency response, including staging areas, loading docks, and deployable structures.
• Asset & Infrastructure Management: Oversees facility infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire suppression).
• Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Manages relationships with facility service providers, maintenance contractors, and utility vendors.
• Safety & Compliance: Implements and enforces facility safety programs, emergency procedures, and hazard mitigation practices.
• Planning & Administration: Develops facility management plans, maintenance schedules, and operational procedures.
