Job summary

SOSi is seeking an experienced QA/QC Safety Manager to lead safety, QA/QC, and EHS across all programs. You will develop and oversee the Safety Management Program, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

You will coordinate with operations, logistics, and government partners, maintain safety records, train staff, and support emergency response activities. Travel to deployment sites is required, and the role may involve after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in safety-related field.
• 7+ years of safety/QA/EHS experience.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA standards and risk management.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and safety training.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
• May require Public Trust or Secret clearance depending on customer.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Management: develops and oversees the Safety Management Program with hazard analyses and risk mitigation.
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control: implements QA/QC standards, conducts inspections and audits, tracks non-conformances.
• Emergency Response Support: provides safety oversight during activations and surge operations.
• Environmental Health & Safety: monitors controls, PPE use, and incident investigations.
• Coordination & Communication: collaborates across operations, logistics, and government partners.
• Program Administration: maintains safety records, SOPs, training logs, and reports.
