PERSONE NYC is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to own facilities and maintenance operations across a growing NYC restaurant group. You will oversee 10+ locations and lead a five‑person internal maintenance team, coordinating with external vendors and senior operations leadership.

The role focuses on preventative maintenance, vendor management, and proactive issue resolution to keep locations running smoothly every day. Must thrive in a hands‑on, field‑oriented environment in NYC.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead a 5-Person Maintenance Team

PERSONE NYC is recruiting an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of facilities and maintenance operations for an established and growing NYC restaurant group.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows how restaurants actually work behind the scenes - the equipment, systems, vendors, preventative maintenance and constant moving pieces that keep busy locations running smoothly every single day.

You’ll oversee facilities across 10+ NYC restaurants and lead an internal maintenance team of five, manage outside vendors and work directly with senior operations leadership.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, visiting restaurants, solving problems, managing people and vendors, and getting ahead of issues before they become emergencies.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

You’ll be the point person for facilities across the restaurant group, including:

• Preventative Maintenance - HVAC, refrigeration, smart ovens, hot-line equipment, ice machines and other essential restaurant systems
• Team Leadership - Manage, schedule, train and develop an internal maintenance team
• Restaurant Equipment - Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs across commercial kitchen and beverage equipment
• Vendor Management - Manage service providers, negotiate estimates, oversee warranties and ensure work is completed properly
• Fire + Safety Systems - Ansul systems, extinguishers, sprinklers, gas compliance and related inspections
• NYC Compliance - Work with FDNY, DOH, DOT, utilities and other municipal agencies
• Work Orders - Manage and track service requests and follow-through using ResQ
• Projects + Buildouts - Support renovations, infrastructure improvements, seasonal projects and new initiatives
• Restaurant Infrastructure - Help oversee security cameras, internet/Wi-Fi, lighting systems, keyless access and related technology
• Facilities Logistics - Manage maintenance supplies, tools, storage and equipment across locations.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You understand that restaurant facilities are a different world.

Neither can a plumbing issue, HVAC problem, equipment failure or inspection.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive rather than reactive - someone who can build preventative systems, prioritize intelligently and keep multiple locations running without every issue becoming an emergency.

Strong candidates should bring experience with:

• Multi-unit restaurant or hospitality facilities
• Managing maintenance technicians or facilities teams
• NYC regulatory requirements and inspections
• Budgets, estimates and invoice review
• Strong computer and organizational skills

THE SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, hands-on operational role.

Candidates should have the flexibility to work nights and weekends when operational needs require it and regularly travel between the group's 10+ NYC restaurants.
