Job summary

Fine Fettle is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of our 118,000 square foot Macon, GA production facility and support Georgia retail locations. You will drive preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs, and manage vendor relationships to keep equipment and facilities safe and fully operational.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a large commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules for equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate and supervise all repairs, renovations, installs and upgrades to the facility.
• Support commissioning and maintenance of all equipment in the facility.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service.
• Monitor facility budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure timely repairs in accordance to production schedules.
• Ensure that the facility and surrounding grounds are clean, organized, and well-maintained, including managing janitorial services and landscaping.
• Operate and maintain forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for facility operations, ensuring safe and efficient use.
• The Facilities Manager will support maintenance needs across Fine Fettle’s Georgia retail locations.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and implement effective solutions, including working outside of normal scheduled hours when necessary.
• The Facilities Manager will oversee maintenance requests and minor projects across Fine Fettle’s Georgia retail locations.
