Bradford Labs Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager for our West Warwick, Rhode Island site. The role leads a maintenance team, oversees production equipment, and manages building systems, utilities, and grounds to ensure safe, reliable operations and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will balance day‑to‑day reliability with capital projects, energy management, and continuous improvement. Strong leadership, technical ability, and union‑environment experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 5–10 years of facilities or maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising maintenance or facilities personnel.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience leading employees in a unionized environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the maintenance team across shifts.
• Recruit, train, and develop maintenance staff and address skill gaps.
• Administer the collective bargaining agreement for maintenance staff.
• Set performance expectations and provide coaching and recognition.
• Ensure maintenance of production equipment, utilities, and grounds.
• Own preventive maintenance and CMMS/work order programs.
• Manage spare parts inventory and budget alignment.
• Support equipment installations and capital projects with cross‑functional partners.
• Maintain safety programs and OSHA compliance with site leadership.
• Develop facility budgets, cost analyses, and energy strategies.
• Track maintenance metrics and report to COO/EVP of Operations.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and coordinate with departments.
