Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee housekeeping and maintenance across multiple facilities in Queens, NY. The role focuses on safe, clean environments and strong vendor coordination.

You will supervise staff, manage inspections, and ensure compliance with safety requirements while coordinating with external contractors and internal teams. The position is full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years in building systems maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise housekeeping and maintenance teams, scheduling coverage for absences and overtime.
• Oversee interior and exterior conditions of buildings to high standards.
• Monitor HVAC, fire alarms, sprinklers, boilers, elevators, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Ensure SDS, fire drills and safety codes compliance.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships for timely, cost-effective repairs.
• Oversee procurement of custodial and grounds supplies and uniforms.
• Manage projects within budget and timelines; ensure compliance with policies.
• Conduct weekly environmental rounds and inspection reports for safety.
• Participate in hiring, training, evaluating staff and performance reviews.
• Oversee invoicing, PO prep, and payments to vendors.
• Prioritize, assign, and complete work orders on schedule.
• Create monthly floor maintenance schedules (stripping, waxing, buffing).
• Create and manage painting schedules for facilities and audits prep.
• Manage building key system and access control per security policies.
• Additional responsibilities as directed.
