Acacia Network is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of multiple facilities in Queens, NY. The role focuses on safe, clean, well-organized environments for staff and visitors, supervising housekeeping and maintenance teams and managing vendor relationships.

You will monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and other critical systems, ensuring inspections and documentation are up to date while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in building systems maintenance, grounds maintenance, and housekeeping services, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and other maintenance and operation systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead housekeeping and maintenance teams, including scheduling coverage for absences and managing overtime assignments.
• Supervise all assigned buildings to ensure interior and exterior conditions are maintained to high standards.
• Monitor and maintain critical systems (HVAC, fire alarms, sprinklers, boilers, elevators, doors, plumbing, electrical) and ensure inspections are up to date.
• Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are current and safety codes/regulations are followed.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for timely repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee procurement of custodial and grounds supplies and uniforms with accurate inventory tracking.
• Oversee project work within budget and timelines with adherence to policies and ethics.
• Conduct weekly environmental rounds and inspection reports for safety and audit readiness.
• Participate in hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for facilities staff.
• Oversee invoice reconciliation, PO preparation, and check requests for timely payments.
• Prioritize and assign work orders for timely completion.
• Create monthly floor maintenance scheduling (stripping, waxing, buffing).
• Create and manage painting schedules for facilities including audits preparation.
• Manage building key system and access control in line with security policies.
• Handle additional responsibilities as directed.
