Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Manager of Facilities overseeing the PHL Airport location to direct the running of our facilities and create a safe and efficient work environment that improves business performance and optimizes staff productivity. Duties include directing facilities functions, implementing policies and safety procedures, engaging with vendors and contractors, minimizing hazards, preparing facilities budgets, monitoring expenditure, designing and planning workstations, coordinating remodeling and refurbishment initiatives, testing equipment, forecasting space needs, ensuring compliance with laws, coordinating relocations, and negotiating lease agreements. Your skills in managing facilities will help create integrated spaces, minimize disruptions, improve working conditions, and ensure a safe environment for staff and clients.

The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, excellent organizational skills, broad knowledge of business functions, and project management experience. Understanding technical aspects of the property, supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient facility operation, mitigating risks, and meeting client and staff needs are essential. Oversee a team of technicians. Previous airport experience is required.

  • Managing hood cleaning, grease trap cleaning, and janitorial services.
  • Budgeting and estimating costs.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in facilities management, engineering, or property management.
  • Experience with Corrigo or equivalent CMMS.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good knowledge of regulations and laws.
  • Multitasking abilities and computer literacy.
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good negotiating skills.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year plus bonus eligibility.
