Job summary

Anduril Industries in Southern California seeks a Facilities Manager to own building operations across offices, production, and test spaces. You will oversee safety, maintenance, and infrastructure, collaborating with internal stakeholders on projects that affect building systems and workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or aerospace facilities, budgeting acumen, and CMMS/ERM proficiency. You will lead a facilities team and ensure reliability, uptime, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience supporting managing day-to-day operations and projects for manufacturing facilities.
• Experience managing people and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Life Cycle and budgeting.
• Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience.
• Proficient in CMMS and ERM software.
• Experience managing budgets for preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes and hoists.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems; Facility Manager credentials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations in our facilities including office, production, manufacturing, and test support.
• Scope MEP work as the space evolves and changes.
• Project manage capital improvement projects from pre-construction to handover.
• Collaborate with equipment owners on future moves and planning for space and utilities.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Develop and maintain facilities SOPs and documentation.
• Lead and develop facilities staff; coach and mentor as needed.
• Coordinate with EHS to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, water tanks, emergency generators, and general infrastructure repairs.
• Support Workplace Manager to ensure seamless facility operations.
• Contribute to shaping a can-do, customer-focused culture.
